Welcome to the Main House on Horsehead Lake — the largest and most spacious retreat on this private Northwoods property, perfect for families or groups who want room to spread out and truly settle in.
The house sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms: a queen bed in the primary bedroom with direct deck access overlooking the lake, a bedroom with two twin beds perfect for the kids, and a double bed in the third bedroom. The living room couch also pulls out for added flexibility. With 1.5 bathrooms, mornings are easy even with a full group.
Inside, you'll find two fireplaces to keep things cozy in every season, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and all the cookware you need, and a downstairs bar area that makes this house built for gathering. The layout is open, comfortable, and designed for real relaxation.
Step outside and you're right on Horsehead Lake. The shared dock and main grilling area are available to all guests staying on the property, making it easy to spend your whole day on the water — swimming, fishing, kayaking, or watching the sun go down. The outdoor fire pit is the perfect way to end the evening.
Horsehead Lake is a snowmobile and ATV destination in the winter, with trail access directly from the property. There's more than enough parking for trucks, trailers, and sleds. Whether you're here for a summer lake trip or a winter trail adventure, the Main House has everything you need.

The cabin on Horsehead Lake was clean, comfortable, and a pleasure to stay in. The Host, Courtney and Allison, were very responsive to questions and helped us get settled in quickly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
This was our 2nd stay with Courtney - this time we had friends staying with us. She was very accommodating, giving us permission to have 4 dogs with us (and they all had a blast!). The main cabin is gorgeous - had very comfortable seating, lots of room, and pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Courtney even let us have a late check-out when we ran into an issue with our truck and had to get it fixed. My husband and I have fallen in love with this place, and plan to be back many times. Courtney and her husband are awesome hosts - don't hesitate to stay here... the lake view is gorgeous, it's peaceful, relaxing, and feels like home. Thank you again Courtney for another great stay! ☺️❤️
